Liam Neeson claimed he found love on the set of his newest film, Blacklight.

However, there’s the issue the woman in question was “taken.”

This led to a joke that comedian Amy Schumer couldn’t help but make.

She shared a screenshot of the article on her Instagram with her joke.

Neeson told the Australian news source, Sunriseabout his time filming in the country. In 2020, he was in Melbourne to film Blacklight.

The actor said:

“I loved Melbourne, I love all of our Australian crew, they are fantastic workers. Every department was superb.”

However, it was his next admission that had people’s jaws on the floor.

“I made a couple of pals there, I fell in love, but she was taken.”

Neeson didn’t give any more information about who the woman is, but the Sunrise co-hosts did try asking viewers to let them know if they had any idea who she might be.

However, Schumer went in a different direction, suggesting tracking her down should be the plot of the next film in the Taken franchise.

Her Instagram post got some great reactions all around.

Some people were happy for Neeson, who tragically lost his wife in a 2009 skiing accident.

While he couldn’t be with her, there’s something nice about the ability to fall in love again.

However, others were concerned that Neeson’s admission would hurt the woman’s marriage. How many women could have befriended Neeson in 2020?

Would it be easy to figure out if you’re the woman’s spouse?

But mostly, people just loved Schumer’s idea for another Taken film.

Neeson’s time in Australia also included a group of Irish nurses who tried to make him feel at home.

He described the situation, saying:

“I would get calls from the nurses who would say ‘Mr Neeson, we’ve just taken some Irish bread we’ve cooked out of the oven, can we bring you some?’
“And sure enough there were five or six nurses all in PPE gear with a plate of bread or Irish scones, which was terribly sweet.”

Blacklight, a thriller where Neeson portrays a fixer for compromised undercover agents, opens this month.
