7-Eleven Worker Offers Warning After Woman's Car Is Stolen A Minute After She Left It Running Outside

A 7-Eleven worker had a public service announcement reminding people to never let their cars run when leaving their vehicle, even for a minute.

Harmanjeet Singh, a TikToker who appears to be a gas station cashier in Austin, Texas, and regularly posts his day-to-day goings-on while at his shifts, posted a video in which a customer's car was stolen after leaving it running.

He narrated the sequence of events as it played out in the surveillance footage and posted the clip on TikTok where it went viral.

And the theft itself was not the main reason why the clip was viewed over 1.3 million times.

“C’mon people. Lock your damn cars—even if you think you’re only going to be in there a minute, lock them,” Singh said in the video, adding, “That’s all it takes: A minute for someone to steal your car.”

He continued saying the woman wasn't even upset about the car but was more distressed over the fact she had "plant-based stuff" inside her stolen car–explaining for her visit to the convenience store due to "having the munchies in the middle of the night."

In the clip, the woman exited her vehicle, and Singh explained the thief had been watching her, almost as if he were a stalker waiting for the right moment to make his move.

Singh also presumed the suspect could've been an ex and that the woman "got the car from him" after leaving him destitute, and therefore, making him plot his revenge.

When the woman returned to find her car missing, she frantically walked around in circles, to which the TikToker said:

“Go around in circles as much as you want, ma’am. Your car is gone. You should have locked the damn thing.”

TikTokers couldn't help but be amused by the clip because of Singh's commentary.
