Women Share Which Things They Wish Guys Wouldn't Be Insecure About

You know the saying, "men are from Mars, women are from Venus"? Well the etiquette and customs of these two planets seem to be vastly different, if we're going by how each of the sexes act. But what things should men not be so insecure about? These women of Reddit spill all the tea.

u/Daniel_cej asked: Girls, what is something guys shouldn't feel insecure about?

Works both ways.

Telling us when we've hurt their feelings. I am SO. MUCH. more receptive if I think I've hurt my husband than I am when he just gets defensive/aggressive.

WolfsWife

Works both ways. I was kind of upset with my wife the other day and said something kind of mean because I was......upset. If she got mad in return it would have escalated. Instead, she just explained how much it hurt her feelings.

Made me take a step back and apologize instead. God I love that woman.

NWDegenerate

Nothing to be ashamed of.

If they can't grow a beard or if they're balding young.

junglerats

I've been balding since I was 15, but it's accelerated in the past two years. It's annoying as hell, especially when you realize you could have real hair. My half brother has a full head of hair in his 40s, and I'm chilling at 29 about to be fully bald.

Ice-and-Fire

A big truth bomb.

Making noises during sex. We LIKE it if we can tell you're into it.

fiestiier

Otherwise it's like I'm banging a spooky ghost.

BirdBerella

Everyone loves cake!

That you like things that are deemed "girly." Honestly, we don't care. (Okay, there's that one woman who might make fun you but no one on our side likes her. Just ignore her.)

But we actually think it's sweet that you like things like flowers or that you love the color pink or that you adore going to high end bakeries for dressed up desserts. Don't be afraid to show it. Heck, if you know a good place to pick up a slice of cake, tell us!

inksmudgedhands

Dad bods give the best hugs.

Giphy

Their stomachs. If you don't have a completely flat stomach thats okay, most people don't and no one is gonna notice. You look great.

angrysparklingwater

So much this! Mine has been saying he feels fat and I just wish he saw what I saw. He's 6'5 and 210lb- he's hardly fat! He's just not toned which he finds frustrating, but I think he's the best because I just fold right into his hugs!

cottoncaughtincandy

Nothing wrong with that.

My ex didn't hesitate to tell his male friends that he loves/cares about them, and it was pretty refreshing to see. Go ahead and tell your friends you love them, I won't think you're a wuss or whatever.

Oh, and short kings and I can get down. I'm 5'2". If you tell me that you're a short guy, all I hear is, "When we're arguing, if you put on heels you'll be able to make eye contact." That's a power move, folks. I can feel like an equal in that relationship.

The_Late_Gatsby

This d*ck is juuuust right.

Average d*ck is best d*ck and you can't tell me otherwise.

Stop being ashamed of it. I've tried all sizes, and there is such thing as too big. You're not less of a man. You can do more with an average one.

You gotta have that Goldilocks penis.

ageekyninja

Don't be afraid of this.

Giphy

Crying.

Literally crying is so normal and should be normal for guys. If you're sad, cry. If a girl mocks you or is heartless she's a stone cold b*tch who you need out of your life.

Nobody should make you feel sh*tty for crying when you're sad.

Britishsasstronaut

No need to be a hero.

Asking for help. Everyone needs help in all different areas at various points in their life, so there's no shame in asking for it. I understand gender and social norms, but it's not the 1940s, men don't need to be big strong heroes that can handle everything on their own.

MommySaysBadWords

Don't overthink flirting.

Not being able to start every new flirt session with something super clever to say. It's fine. Having good energy behind "Hey. How's it going?" Will appeal to plenty of potential matches. Slucksters get tiresome anyway.

Fox Host Slams Dem For Dropping An F-Bomb After Praising Trump For The Same Thing Just Minutes Earlier

Fox News host Emily Compagno was criticized after she praised Donald Trump's use of the "f-bomb" earlier this week before condemning Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett's use of the same word—on the same episode of her show, no less.

Trump made headlines this week after admonishing Israel and Iran for violating a ceasefire agreement he'd announced on Truth Social. Although he claimed the ceasefire had been "agreed upon," Iran fired at least six missile barrages at Israel after it was supposed to take effect.

State Department Slammed After Requiring Visa Applicants To Make All Social Media Posts Public For Vetting

The State Department is facing harsh criticism after it announced that anyone applying for an F, M, or J nonimmigrant visa will need to disclose all social media profiles from the last five years, requiring that all applicants set their posts to public so they can be properly vetted by its agents.

The agency said the new rules are part of a new screening process aimed at identifying individuals who may pose a threat to U.S. national security. According to the department, failure to comply could result in a denial, and consular officers have been instructed to flag signs of “hostility” toward the U.S.—though the criteria for such determinations remain vague.
