Ahhhh... you hate to see it.
But then again, it does make for some great entertainment.
Wheel of Fortune contestant Jessica Washington disappointed the audience after she incorrectly guessed the sole remaining letter in a puzzle that read:
"DINING IN THE DINING _AR."
We can C why they collectively groaned, though, as Washington believed the letter "J" was behind the last unturned tile.
You can watch—and hear—the disappointment, below.

While there were a couple of people on social media who defended the contestant...
@jewbyboobie To be fair, I'm pretty sure the last time anyone dined in the dining car was 1954— Flannery O'Gooner (@Flannery O'Gooner) 1695688268
As an American (no high quality passenger trains) I haven't even thought of the concept of a dining car since I was reading mid-century novels in middle school. My only thought seeing this was "bar"— Jones of the Flower Moon (@Jones of the Flower Moon) 1695729755
... most viewers of the segment were in hysterics over the face-palm moment.

After Washington's deflating miss, the next contestant captured the round, choosing the correct letter "C" to complete the phrase:
"DINING IN THE DINING CAR."
Yeah, that makes more sense.
Ouch.
