Guy Demands Refund For LGBT+ New Year's Eve Event After It's 'Ruined' By Seeing Two Men Kissing

A man identified only as "Stuart" is demanding a refund from LGBTQ nightclub Push The Button after attending their "Huge NYE Party 2018." It seems his evening was going great until he looked over and saw — gasp — men kissing! This, of course, forced Stuart and his girlfriend to leave the event early, which he believes is the fault of the event's organizers.

Rob Holley, who DJ's and promotes for Push the Button, tweeted pictures of Stuart's email:

In his email, Stuart claims he "had to leave" because he wasn't aware it was a "GBLT" evening.

Rob followed up, asking Stuart why he "had to" leave.

Stuart explained that he's "not homophobic" but his New Year's Eve was ruined by being at a "gay evening."

Unfortunately for Stuart, it was made abundantly clear what kind of event he was going to...

The sight of men kissing is, apparently, what caused Stuart's discomfort.

Stuart had tried to get a refund the night before, only to be turned down.

Stuart tried to end the exchange by calling Rob "an ignorant individual with no empathy."

In the end, Stuart showed his true colors.

On Twitter, Rob offered a final message, pointing out that Stuart would have gotten his refund if he'd been nice about it.

Twitter users were united in their annoyance with Stuart and admiration of Rob.

Even if you wouldn't do it, seeing men kissing shouldn't ruin a New Year's Eve.

People called out Stuart for his self-righteous attitude and not-so-subtle homophobia.

We applaud Holley's deft handling of an infuriating situation! We hope Stuart goes to the right party in 2020 — the one where he and his girlfriend stay home, away from progressive society that makes him feel ICKY.

Rainbow "sits down" with Trump for an interview in the "Liberace showroom" that used to be the East Wing of the White House, a reference to the recent demolition that is making way for a 90,000 square-foot ballroom archivists and preservationists say will overwhelm the presidential residence.

Millie Bobby Brown Tells The Media To 'Get Off My F—king Case' After Cruel Scrutiny Over Her Looks

Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown has called out the media—again—for their portrayal of her appearance in their headlines.

Brown's career was hard-launched when she was ten years old when she introduced the iconic "Eleven" character in the Stranger Things franchise, and the public has really struggled to accept the fact that she's a human being who will grow and change like the rest of us, meaning she can't stay ten years old forever.

Newsom Offers Scathing One-Word Response To 8 Democrats Who Caved And Voted With GOP To End Shutdown

California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized the eight Democratic Senators who voted with Republicans to end the government shutdown by advancing a spending deal that notably omits an extension of expanded Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies.

Under the current agreement, the enhanced subsidies would expire, though senators would have the option to revisit the issue later in the year. Supporters of the compromise say that deferring the vote was the only viable path forward, as many Republicans refused to discuss the subsidies until the government reopened.

People Reveal How They Lost Their Jobs To Artificial Intelligence

The concept of artificial intelligence (AI) dates back thousands of years with ancient myths. Later, inventors would create automatons that moved independently through the use of gears, cogs, and springs.

But for a long time, the idea of an artificial brain was relegated to science fiction.
