Rihanna Sends Roses To Senior Citizens Who Recreated Her Super Bowl Halftime Show On TikTok

The singer sent 100 white roses to the Arcadia Senior Living Facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky, after they performed her hit single 'Rude Boy' as seen during her halftime show.

Rihanna sent 100 white roses to the Arcadia Senior Living facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky after she saw a video of the some of the residents recreate "Rude Boy" from her Super Bowl halftime performance.

In the TikTok video—which has now been viewed more than 31 million times (!)—female residents of the senior living facility dressed in white, except of course the main star in red, just like Rihanna and her dancers.


The 12 second video begins with the ladies in white parting to make way for "Rihanna" who spins around and lip-syncs the lyrics into the mic while dancing to the beat.

As you can imagine, viewers absolutely loved the video.

Of course, one notable fan of the video - Rihanna herself - left the entertainers "in shock." While they admitted they were hoping for a response from Rihanna, they weren't really expecting one.

The center's director of community relations, Paige Oakes, told BuzzFeed:

"We were just in shock."
"This whole time, we've just been waiting for a response from Rihanna - not really thinking that it would ever happen because we know she's busy and we didn't really know if she saw it or not."

She revealed that the residents were stunned when they received the roses from the icon, which included a not that said their performance was "amazing."

The facility also posted the singer's gift of gratitude to their Facebook page with the caption:

"The moment we've hoped for, Rihanna has delivered!"

Viewers of the post congratulated the ladies on their well-deserved recognition.

Another music industry icon Jay-Z sent 100 red roses to the performers on behalf of Roc Nation entertainment agency, which represents Rihanna.

Oakes also shared with BuzzFeed:

"It made our day know that it reached her and she got to watch it and enjoy seeing our residents dancing to her music and having fun."
