Ladies, now let's get in formation.

A former business consultant named Kristina Roth is creating a health-conscious island resort—exclusively for women.

Aptly named SuperShe Island, the women-only destination is located off the coast of Finland and is a densely wooded area, dotted with cozy, minimally-decorated luxury cottages.

Roth got the idea after visiting luxury bootcamps at Ranch Malibu and the Ashram in Calabasas, California. Though she found these getaways rejuvenating, she noticed that whenever men were present, there was a distraction from the relaxation she desired.

In an interview with the New York Post she explained, "When there was a cute guy, women would put on lipstick. The idea [at SuperShe Island] is, 'hey, focus on yourself — don't try to get your hormones up.'"

Though not all women are of Roth's opinion:

Roth's vision goes further than just the retreat: "Wanna to be a SuperShe?" the SuperShe homepage asks, then goes on to describe the SuperShe mission:

SuperShe is a community. Connecting women across the world. Together we can achieve dreams. Together we can create change. SuperShe is different. Transforming dated ideas of networking. Exchanging conference rooms for Oahu. Ballrooms for Turks and Caicos. SuperShe is inspiring women. We provide tools to help women improve their lives and regain overall health through: fitness, beauty, fashion, sex, spirituality, and more.

Roth's island isn't quite open to the public yet, nevertheless she takes an annual SuperShe retreat with her friends. This year, six SuperShes went to Oahu, Hawaii.

Here's a clip of Roth explaining what it meant to her:

This clip from the Oahu retreat gives an idea of what it might be like on SuperShe Island, (though much colder since it's off the coast of Finland):

Roth found out about the island from a local she'd fallen in love with. She explained to the Post, "His parents own an island on the archipelago, and he kept telling me, the island next door is for sale. I said, I'm not interested, I just bought a beautiful piece of land in Turks and Caicos — I'm really not interested." But once she saw it Roth changed her mind.
The health-focused, substance-free retreat opens in June and reservations will open up to the public the following month. A rep from the resort told Cosmopolitan that an all-inclusive 7-day stay will start at $3,500. But don't reach for your credit card yet. All applicants interested in booking a stay on SuperShe must submit to an approval process.
Up to this point, the SuperShe base has consisted of Roth's inner circle, but this will change once the general public is able to apply for exclusive memberships. Roth plans to use a vetting process similar to Soho House, where current members vouch for incoming ones. Roth told the Post, "I'd like to vet the person and see that they're well-rounded and would fit in, but I don't want to be elitist."
If you think you have what it takes to be a SuperShe (and at least $3,500), apply today.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

It is never attractive to gloat.

Even so, some people can't help but brag, or "flex" as it is sometimes known, about certain accomplishments or attributes.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Whether we want to admit it or not, we've all had our fair share of carpool karaoke and maybe even imagined our car as our own personal recording studio.

But TikToker and Instagrammer Kaitlynn McCutcheon may have gotten too into her performance of Britney Spears' classic, "Hit Me Baby, One More Time," when the road and her car both said, "Bet."

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
