Marco Rubio Blamed an Unflattering Article on an Intern and Monica Lewinsky Just Responded

Senator Marco Rubio turned heads with an interview with The Economist recently in which he admitted:

“There is still a lot of thinking on the right that if big corporations are happy, they’re going to take the money they’re saving and reinvest it in American workers. In fact they bought back shares, a few gave out bonuses; there’s no evidence whatsoever that the money’s been massively poured back into the American worker.”

“Overall, the Republican tax-cut bill has been good for Americans. That is why I voted for it. But it could have been even better for American workers and their families.”

For the record, the author of the Politico piece, Quint Forgey, is quite literally an editorial intern at Politico, which doesn't diminish the validity of everything written within it, although that appears to be Rubio's implication with his tweet.
