On January 6, former President Donald Trump's lies about the validity of the 2020 election prompted a mob of pro-Trump extremists to storm the United States Capitol in hopes of upending the joint congressional session nationally certifying then-President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

The rioters shattered windows, smeared excrement across the walls, and came within feet of lawmakers whose lives they endangered and for whom they called to be executed.

To make matters worse, the lies that prompted the failed insurrection were gleefully amplified by Republican lawmakers, many of whom likened January 6 to a "1776 moment." Among these was Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

Stripped of her committee assignments for her past support of conspiracy theories and the executions of her now-colleagues, Greene heavily relies on social media to fan the flames of division that got her elected.

Such was the case on Sunday, when Greene posted a diatribe calling Democrats "the enemy within."

The tweet received widespread rebuke, especially from Democratic Congressman Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), who noted that, as the rioters were getting closer to members of Congress, he prepared to take a pen and stab them if the need arose.

In a nonsensical response, Greene called Gallego a coward and accused him of seeking attention.

Gallego dismissed her accusations.

On January 6, Greene was one of the Republican lawmakers who moved to dispute the election results in swing states Trump lost—an effort to overturn valid and certified votes cast by the American people.

Gallego's initial rebuke of Greene made waves online.

Greene's insistence on painting Democrats as domestic terrorists wasn't kindly received.

Greene is up for reelection in 2022.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
