Entities across a vast array of sectors continue to abandon outgoing President Donald Trump after a mob of pro-Trump extremists launched an unprecedented attack on the United States Capitol last week, incited by Trump's repeated lies that Democrats "stole" the 2020 presidential election from him through widespread fraud.

Deutsche Bank, one of the few remaining banks still willing to lend to Trump, said it would no longer work with the President. Signature Bank said the same and closed all of Trump's accounts.

PGA America announced that it would cut all ties with Trump and said its 2022 championship would no longer be held at Trump's Bedminster Golf Course.

Online commerce vendor Shopify cut ties with Trump and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio recently announced that Trump's former home city would cut all business contracts with him.

If that wasn't enough, the Girl Scouts of Greater New York is looking to jump ship too.

According to Daniel Geiger of Business Insider, the organization is seeking to terminate its 15 year lease of an office in a Trump building at 40 Wall Street with nine years still left.

Chief Executive Officer Meridith Maskara said of the move:

"As a matter of very high priority, our organization has been exploring options for getting out of the lease and the building."

The development led to further mockery from Trump's critics.

Cookie-themed wisecracks soon began.

Trump's final day in office is January 20th.

Vance Makes Epically Ironic Dig At Past Presidents While Defending Trump For Bombing Iran

Vice President JD Vance appeared to have no sense of irony when he told NBC that President Donald Trump's attack on Iran is different from the U.S.'s past conflicts in the Middle East because, he said, Trump is unlike prior "dumb presidents."

Vance spoke after Trump authorized a series of intense U.S. air and submarine strikes targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities, amid ongoing uncertainty about the status of Tehran’s nuclear program, saying the decision shows Trump "actually knows how to accomplish America's national security objectives."
