Girl Takes Danny DeVito Cardboard Cutout To Prom—And He Returns The Favor...Kind Of 😂

A girl brought a cardboard cutout of Danny DeVito to prom, and the actor responded in the best way possible.

Allison Closs needed a date for prom, and as a Philly native and fan of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, she decided Danny DeVito, or at least his likeness, would be the perfect companion.

It was "a night I'll never forget," Closs said, as she posted photos of herself and the cutout at prom on Instagram. She and the cutout shared some goofy moments in a photobooth.

The cast of the show caught wind of it, and DeVito returned the favor by bringing a cardboard cutout of Closs onto the set of Always Sunny. DeVito plays Frank Reynolds, a rich and mischievous former real estate titan who owns a dumpy bar in Philly with his two kids and their friends. The bar, Paddy's Pub, pretty much exists as a means for the characters to get drunk and hash out get-rich-quick schemes.

"Hey Allison- I heard you took cardboard Danny to Prom. What a coincidence. He took cardboard Allison to Paddy's," star Rob McElhenney said. He shared a picture of DeVito with a cutout of Closs on the set of Paddy's.

Closs tweeted back at McElhenney, clearly elated saying "I am shooketh."

She also expressed her thanks to the cast for noticing what she did.

"Thank you SO, SO MUCH @RMcElhenney and @DannyDeVito for fulfilling my dream of visiting Paddy's Pub from @alwayssunny !! 🤩"

A local news station reached out to Closs for permission to share her story, to which of course she happily obliged.

Twitter users shared their thoughts too, and who wouldn't be jealous of her?

Trump Reacts To Conspiracy Theorist FEMA Official Who Claims He Once Teleported To A Waffle House

President Donald Trump appeared noticeably confused after CNN asked him about FEMA official Gregg Phillips' bizarre claim that he once teleported to a Waffle House 50 miles away.

Phillips, a former top Texas health official, was appointed in December to lead FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery—a division with more than 1,000 employees—despite a background that raised questions. For instance, before taking the role, he had made unverified claims, including allegations about election fraud.

Fox News Just Complained About How Low Teen Pregnancy Rates Currently Are—And WTF‽‽

During a Friday segment on Fox News's America’s Newsroom with anchor Dana Perino, senior medical analyst Dr. Marc Siegel called a declining birth rate among people aged 15-19 a "problem."

The discussion revolved around new CDC data showing the United States fertility rate, based on birth rates, has fallen to a record low. The fertility rate fell 7 percent in 2025, from 53.8 births per 1,000 childbearing aged women—defined as age 15 to 44—in 2024 to 53.1, according to a report released by the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics on Thursday.
