Madeline Stuart didn't get her modeling career in a typical way, but that isn't slowing her down one bit.

Stuart, who is 21-years-old, initially came into the spot light when she lost 50 pounds and her mother posted a before and after photos on Instagram. When the encouraging photos went viral Stuart told her mother she wanted to pursue her dream of being a model. Now, three years later, Stuart has successfully walked in over 60 shows for New York Fashion Week, London and Paris.

She has modeled for Nonie, House of Byfield, and Lulu et Gigi. In addition to being in front of the camera, Stuart also has her own clothing line, 21 Reasons Why.

Stuart's mother Roxanne, who manages her daughters career is making sure her daughter gets paid. As an advocate for diversity she says:

I won't let her walk unless she gets treated like every other model out there. Madeline doesn't do it for free. It's not creating diversity and helping to change the world if we don't do it like everybody else does.

Twitter is throwing their support behind Stuart.
