TikToker @jessicapearsoneastwind's video of her bandmates singing 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' sparked heated debate after it made its way to social media.

Some people absolutely love music and find hearing live music in unexpected places a delight.

Others, not so much.

Now imagine if you fell into the latter group and were literally trapped in an enclosed space and someone decided to start a singalong.

This is the debate going around after a stranded Icelandair flight had a band break out into song.

@jessicapearsoneastwind posted a video where she stated her Icelandair flight was delayed for ten hours due to high winds so her and her band started a singalong.

While the video she posted to TikTok aappeaed to show the passengers are enjoying themselves and the band does get some applause, it doesn't tell the entire story.

Many passengers were less than thrilled with the turn of events.

And social media tended to agree with them.

Most TikTok comments simply expressed how awful and/or awkward this would have been.

Music is a wonderful part of life and live music is often better.

But when you're stuck on a plane for ten hours and you're frustrated and cramped and probably hungry and tired, the last thing you want is to be forced into a group singalong.

There is a right and wrong time and place for everything, and clearly this was the wrong time and place.
