The internet was in stitches after rapper Snoop Dogg mispronounced Ben Affleck's surname while announcing the first half of the nominations for this year's Golden Globes.

Early Monday morning in Los Angeles, Hollywood Foreign Press President Helen Hoehner gave the rapper the stage, saying, “And now to help me announce the 79th Annual Golden Globe nominees, please welcome a special guest… Snoop Dogg.”

The "Gang Signs" rapper graced the press with his appearance donning Locs sunglasses and a red beanie with the word, "Murder Was The Case"—a nod to one of his hit songs—stitched across the front.

When it came to presenting some of the more difficult nominations with foreign names, he managed to pull it off–including the surnames of Belfast director, Kenneth Branaugh and The French Dispatch composer Alexandre Desplat.

He narrowly avoided butchering the names of Dune Director Denis Villeneuve–which became "Villeneuva"–and Belfast star Ciarán Hinds–which he pronounced as "Karan Hinds."

But what many people were cackling about was his mispronunciation of Ben Affleck–who was up for his performance in The Tender Bar.

When reading "Affleck," Snoop Dogg placed the wrong emPHAsis on the wrong syLLAble but then quickly gave it another try followed by an apology.

The 50-year-old announced:

“Best Performer by an Actor in a Supporting Role: Ben Uhffleck… Ben Affleck. My fault… sorry about that, Ben.”

Take a listen.

The internet was here for Snoop Dogg's "high-performance art," as touted by Buzzfeed News.

NBC will not be broadcasting the 2022 Golden Globes as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has been reforming its organization since April after experiencing fallout for a lack of diversity in their membership as well as "questionable standards and conduct."

In May, NBC stated despite believing the HFPA was committed to "meaningful reform," they were aware a "change of this magnitude takes time and work," adding they felt "strongly the HFPA needs time to do it right."

"As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”

Trump Adviser's Chess Analogy After Trump's Meeting With Canadian Prime Minister Is Epic Self-Own

President Donald Trump's adviser Stephen Miller was mocked online after he used a chess reference to heap praise onto Trump after his Oval office meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Canadian voters returned the Liberal Party to power for a fourth consecutive term after Trump repeatedly threatened Canadian sovereignty amid an ongoing trade war. Carney made defending Canada’s sovereignty a cornerstone of his campaign, pushing back forcefully against Trump’s threats to annex the country as “the 51st state.”

People In Long-Term Relationships Explain What Love Feels Like To Them Now

While some people wax nostalgic about the "good old days" when everyone stayed married, the reality is that there were almost no options for divorced women. There were very few for widows either.

Longevity in relationships was more about necessity and no other choices than devotion. Now that divorce is easily accessible, longterm relationships are more likely to be a choice.
