Someone at Last Night's Trump Rally Shouted for Him to Shoot Migrants and Trump's Reaction Is Disgusting.

Vile.

President Donald Trump held a rally in Panama City, Florida and his anti-immigrant rhetoric inspired one of his supporters to call for people coming across the southern border to be shot.

Trump, stoking xenophobic angst, said:


"When you have 15,000 people marching up and you have hundreds and hundreds of people you have two or three border security people that are brave and great... and don't forget, we don't let them and we can't let them use weapons... we can't. Other countries do, but we can't. I would never do that."

This is not true, as Trump has authorized the use of tear gas on asylum seekers.

"But how do you stop these people?" Trump continued.

"Shoot them!" a woman yelled from the crowd.

The reaction from Trump and his fans was horrifying. Instead of condemning threats of violence, Trump smirked and cracked a joke.

"That's only in the panhandle you can get away with that statement," Trump quipped. "Only in the panhandle.
