Joe Scarborough Warns GOP Senator Who Called Pelosi 'Dumb' at Trump Rally: 'That's Your Moment When You Die'

Joe Scarborough Warns GOP Senator Who Called Pelosi 'Dumb' at Trump Rally: 'That's Your Moment When You Die'
MSNBC

Amen.

President Donald Trump held a rally in Monroe, Louisiana on Wednesday night where he invited Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) to the podium for a few words.

Kennedy proceeded to rail against Democrats, especially House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), whose move to launch impeachment proceedings against Trump has sent Republicans into attack mode in an effort to discredit the investigation.

After saying he merant no disrespect, Kennedy proceeded to say of Pelosi:

"It must suck to be that dumb."

Watch below.

While the spectators predictably applauded and laughed, others took issue with Kennedy calling the most powerful elected woman in history "dumb."

Former Republican Congressman and MSNBC host Joe Scarborough was among them, and he didn't mince words when calling Kennedy out for it.

Watch below.

Scarborough remarked about Kennedy:

"He has degraded himself. Oh and by the way, Senator, guess what: No matter what you do the rest of your life, that's your moment when you die."

He went on:

"Your bio 30, 40 years from now, whenever it is, that's your moment. Congratulations. You did it for a man who committed crimes...you did it for a man who was actually willing to sell out the United States of America for some dirt on Joe Biden. You did it for a man who, again, has destroyed the Conservative movement."

Scarborough proceeded to recite the laundry list of Trump policies and scandals that have done anything but make America great.

Others felt the same.

With a name like John Kennedy, contrasts between the Senator and iconic President John F. Kennedy were inevitably invoked.

"John Kennedy" is now trending on Twitter with thousands of people dunking on the Senator's comments.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
