The day after Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, Senior White House advisor Ivanka Trump decided to show her support -- and apparently her thanks -- for her father with a bizarrely vague tweet,
Posting a photo of her father, Ivanka captioned it simply:
"Thank you, Mr. President!"
The photo was from the inauguration in January of 2017.
The photo plus the caption is almost like something a person would post at the end of a President's term in office. Does she know something we don't know?
The cryptic nature of Ivanka's tweet led many to finish her thought for her -- what exactly was she thanking him for...?
Others saw it as a chance to express their...opinion of the president.
While one person shared a different thank you.
The book High Crimes and Misdemeanors: A History of Impeachment for the Age of Trump is available here.
"In High Crimes and Misdemeanors, constitutional scholar Frank O. Bowman, III offers unprecedented clarity to the question of impeachment, tracing its roots to medieval England through its adoption in the Constitution and 250 years of American experience."
