Through the course of his career, Mark Wahlberg has jumped on and off of his fair share of moving vehicles, but rarely have they been filled with a group of delighted fans.
On Friday, February 8, Wahlberg surprised a group of tourists cruising through Hollywood by jumping up onto their bus and shouting:
"Happy Friday everyone!!!! Let's all have a blessed weekend!"
Wahlberg posted a photo of the surprise run-in on his Instagram account. Just before the tour bus arrived, Wahlberg posted another video of himself hanging around with fans asking them about where they were from. As the other group makes its way down the street, Wahlberg warns his new friends:
"They're going to get me!"
Twitter couldn't stop chuckling at the tourist's chance encounter:
Wahlberg got a fair share of props for his awesome stunt.
One small act of kindness can make all the difference to an unsuspecting stranger.
The actor, a Boston native and lifelong Patriots fan, also commented on the fan gear worn by one excited tourist:
"You got to get rid of that Packers jersey, bro."
Wahlberg's support for the New England NFL team should come as no surprise to any fan of either the actor or star.
Quarterback Tom Brady, who went so far as to tell People he'd like Wahlberg to play him in a movie if the occasion every arose:
"A Boston legend, [from] Dorchester, you know, one of the just 'grind it out' kind of guys. He'd be my choice."
The pair have been friends for quite a while, with Brady even visiting Wahlberg on the set of his movie Ted before making a cameo in Ted 2.
But as much as Wahlberg loves his Patriots, it seems his fans love him just as much! Thanks for being such a chill guy, Mark.
