Former hotel chef Jack Bissell admitted to breaking into the 'Dr. Strange' star's London home while screaming his hope that it 'burns down.'

No, this isn't the plot to a new Dr. Strange flick, but it certainly is terrifying.

Former hotel chef Jack Bissell just pleaded guilty to breaking into Benedict Cumberbatch's London home whilst wielding a knife and threatening the actor and his family.

According to Daily Mail, Bissell, 35, kicked through an iron gate, pulled a plant from the ground and hurled it against the wall before spitting on an intercom and stabbing it with a fish knife.

A source told Daily Mail the intruder shouted:

“I know you’ve moved here, I hope it burns down."

At the time of the horrifying incident, Cumberbatch was home with his wife Sophie Hunter and their three children.

The source shared the family was rightfully shaken:

“Naturally all of the family were absolutely terrified and thought this guy was going to get in and hurt them."
“Luckily it never went that far. Benedict and Sophie have had many sleepless nights since worrying that they may be targeted again.”
“The fact that it was a targeted intrusion makes it a lot more scary."

Those learning of the news were shocked and shared their relief the actor and his family were unscathed.

Although Bissell fled before authorities arrived at the residence, he was later identified through DNA in his saliva.

According to information obtained by Daily Mail, Bissell told the owner of a local shop where he was buying bread earlier that day his plan to break into the house and burn it down.

Bissell admitted to criminal damage and was fined £250 (roughly $310 USD) and issued a three-year restraining order.

We're so thankful no one was hurt during this frightening incident.

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong.
