Although Culkin told 'Variety' reporter Marc Malkin that a spin-off of 'Succession' about Roman Roy is a 'horrible idea,' he did make a pitch for Cousin Greg to have his own show.

Kieran Culkin did not hold back when asked his thoughts on a possible Succession spin-off, and sadly, it seems a reprisal of the youngest son is not in the forecast.

During a red carpet interview at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday, the actor, who played Roman Roy on the hit HBO series was asked by Variety reporter Marc Malkin:

"Do we want a 'Succession' spin-off for you?"

And much to the dismay of fans everywhere, Culkin replied:

"I feel like I should have a joke for this."
"But I feel like a spin-off would be a horrible idea."

Culkin did, however, mention that, on occasion, a spin-off does work.

"Sometimes it works."
"Remember Frasier? We all love Frasier, but not every show can be Frasier."

He then noted that the idea might possibly work for another character, though.

"Cousin Greg would make a good spin-off show, I gotta be honest."
"That would be kind of fun."

Culkin joked that perhaps he could "pop in" from time to time, solely for "entrance applause."

You can watch the moment below.

Some viewers of the interview claimed they would totally tune in for a show about Cousin Greg.

Others, however, absolutely would not.

Many couldn't help but notice Culkin's response was completely giving Roman Roy.

Succession came out a big winner at Sunday's awards show, earning four awards. The show itself won for Best Drama, and cast members Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen, and Culkin took home the awards in their categories.

Well done!
