Kate Winslet Pauses 'Avatar 2' Interview To Give Young Interviewer A Pep Talk In Sweet Viral Video

The actor assured the young, first-time interviewer it was going to be 'the most amazing interview.'

Kate Winslet has been making the rounds for Avatar 2: The Way of Water, but one interview in particular made a splash with viewers.

Winslet, who stars as free diver Ronal in the film, was captured on video assuring young first-time interviewer Martha it would be "the most amazing interview."


In the video, Martha—who was interviewing for German TV network ZDF—revealed:

"Um, it's my first time."

Winslet leaned closer to the interviewer and said:

"This is your first time doing it?"
"Ok, well guess what? When we do this interview, it's going to be the most amazing interview ever."

She continued:

"And do you know why? Because we've decided that it's going to be."
"So, we've decided right now, me and you, that this is going to be a really fantastic interview."

The Titanic icon finished:

"You can ask me anything that you want, and you don't have to be scared."
"Everything is going to be amazing. Ok?"
"You've got this. Ok, let's do it!"

The sweet moment went viral on Twitter.

Many viewers took to the social media platform to share their adoration for Winslet's kindness and encouraging words.

Winslet was correct—it was truly "the most amazing interview."
