On Tuesday, the Democratic party officially completed its ticket for the 2020 presidential election when nominee Joe Biden announced Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his running mate for November.

But when President Donald Trump was asked about the decision, it was the 2016 ticket—comprised of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA)—that was on his mind.

Trump was asked about a moment in the first Democratic debate when Harris took Biden to task about comments he made regarding two segregationist senators.

But instead of referencing Harris, Trump referenced...everything else.

After ranting about the New York Times, the Russia investigation, Maggie Haberman, the Washington Post, and Pulitzer Prizes, Trump invoked his old opponent, Hillary Clinton:

"The whole subject of 'Russia Russia Russia' was made up. Fabricated. It was a crime that was committed, and you look at Hillary Clinton where she paid for the fake dossier, and now the dossier is proven to be totally fake."

Trump was referring to the Steele Dossier, which Republicans falsely claim was the impetus for the Mueller Investigation. They also falsely claim it was paid for by Clinton's campaign. The dossier was originally pursued by Republicans during the Republican primary.

Hillary Clinton didn't hesitate to clap back with just two words.

People often observe that Clinton "lives in Trump's head rent-free," because of his constant fixation on her even almost four years after the election.

Others agreed.

According to some Twitter users, Clinton isn't the only one living in Trump's head.
