Harrison Ford Rescues Woman From Crashed Car

Actor Harrison Ford is mostly know for his roles as Han Solo and Indiana Jones - reluctant heroes who find themselves thrown into trouble, only to ultimately choose to save the day, and the galaxy. It seems all those action hero roles have gotten to his head, as TMZ reports that Ford did not hesitate to rescue a woman whose car had crashed off a California highway in Ventura County.

News outlets are praising Ford as a real-life hero.

The crash occurred late Sunday morning in Santa Paula. The female driver was headed east on California State Route 126 when she accidentally drove her car off the road, down an embankment, and into a tree. Eyewitness told TMZ that Ford was driving behind her when she lost control. He pulled over, and along with others rushed to her aid. She was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Ford began to trend so much that some worried the actor had been accused of...

Initially, many feared the reason for Ford's sudden spike on social media was because he had just been accused of sexual harassment or assault, adding him to the quickly growing list of men in the entertainment industry.

Fortunately, Ford is trending because he's a good samaritan.

"Harrison Ford is trending for the right reasons. [He] helped rescue a woman who veered off Route 126 in Ventura County. First a big sigh of relief and then a standing ovation for being a real life hero."

The Ventura County Star's Gretchen Wenner was not as impressed with Ford's heroics. She reports: "Authorities say Harrison Ford acted 'as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else' when he helped a woman at the scene of a rollover crash in Santa Paula."

Wenner also reports that Ford was not driving but happened to be in the area with a friend when he heard the crash.

It seems most people are not surprised.

"This sounds like the most Harrison Ford thing ever."

In fact, his heroic actions seem very familiar...

"I once saw save some members of the royal family from an IRA terrorist attack."

"Patriot Games" (1992)

"Exclusive footage of Harrison Ford saving a person [from] a vehicle that ran off the road."

"The Fugitive" (1993)

It didn't take too long for jokes about his recent plane crash to surface.

Early this year, Ford crashed his small private plane on the wrong runaway, coming close to colliding with a passenger plane of over 100 people.

Thankfully, someone remembered the best Ford meme ever.

Were his actions... presidential?

"Does he want to be President? A true public servant!! See how it's done @realDonaldTrump ?? You think Mr Ford will tweet "I should have left her at the bottom of the ravine" if he doesn't get the proper Thanks?? Not likely!"

What do you think, Harrison? 2020?

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
