Drake Roasts His Dad For Getting Cringey Tattoo Of Him On His Arm: 'Why You Do Me Like This'

Several years ago, Drake's dad got a picture of his famous son tattooed on his arm. Recently,. Drake posted a picture of the tattoo on his Instagram, bemoaning the decision.

The Canadian actor turned rapper asked:

"I was just sitting here thinking why you do me like this we family."

You can see the post here:

The tattoo is Drake circa his 2010 album Thank Me Later.

Drake himself has a tattoo of his father on his own skin.

It didn't take long for the reactions to Drake's post—and his father's tattoo—to come flooding in.

First, there were those who noted either due to the stencil, the time between the inspiration photo and now or other factors, the tattoo doesn't look...like Drake.

The fact Drake and "fake" rhyme didn't help the ridicule, either.

Others were quick to come up with other people the tattoo looks like.

Maybe ill-fated NFL star and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez?

Some said Rampage Jackson, an MMA fighter.

Once they moved past who the tattoo looked like, reactions concentrated on some of the more dubious aesthetic decisions of the tattoo.

The tattoo artist in question, Michael Bowman, told i-D he "did it for free because it was a great opportunity. Dennis [Drake's father] was 100% blown away and in love with it!"

Finally, there were those who noted the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in terms of tattoo decisions.

Like father like son?

Dept. Of Energy Roasted After Posting Bonkers Light Switch Meme To Praise Trump

The U.S. Department of Energy was mocked online after it shared a photo of President Donald Trump signing executive orders next to an image of a hand turning a light switch on—a bizarre meme that had people scratching their heads wondering what in the world the department was aiming for.

The official X account posted the meme without a caption or a comment of any kind—just one of many posts in recent days lauding the Trump administration and particularly Secretary Chris Wright for ensuring that "energy equals freedom" and that the U.S. has entered a "golden age of liquid gold."
