President Donald Trump began his Thursday with an erratic Fox & Friends interview in which he admitted that his opposition to expanded Postal Service funds was to stifle mail-in ballots ahead of the election.
While that moment rightly got most of the attention, the President also embarked on diatribes against some of his least favorite women.
Among them was Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)—colloquially known as AOC.
Watch below.
Trump on AOC: "AOC was a poor student ... this is not even a smart person, other than she's got a good line of stuff. I mean, she goes out and she yaps." pic.twitter.com/usijJRqlqK

Trump said:
"AOC was a poor student. I won't say where she went to school. It doesn't matter. This is not even a smart person, other than she's got a good line of stuff. I mean, she goes out and she yaps, and they're all afraid of her."
The Congresswoman's intelligence is frequently dismissed by Republicans, though she graduated cum laude from Boston University with degrees in both economics and international relations.
Since the 2016 campaign, the President has refused to release transcripts of his grades from his time at Wharton and Fordham University. His niece, Mary Trump, asserts in her tell-all memoir that Trump paid someone to take his SAT's for him.
Ocasio-Cortez responded to Trump's dig by calling on him to release his grades and compare them to hers, with the loser funding the embattled Post Office ahead of the election.
Let's make a deal, Mr. President:
You release your college transcript, I'll release mine, and we'll see who was the better student.
Loser has to fund the Post Office. https://t.co/OXnmJxufIw

People were pretty sure who would win.
Tsk. Not really a fair fight between a woman with a big brain and a man with a noggin full of marshmallows, I'm just saying.

he literally thought that the 1917 pandemic (which was actually 1918) ended the second world war (which ended in 1945) i think it's pretty clear who the better student is

Trump does not know what a college transcript is. He will end up releasing his cognitive test.

Not everyone needs to have good grades to be a campus role model, of course, but:
While @AOC wasn't in our @corecurriculum at BU, I was certainly aware of her status as a high-performing scholar and student leader during her time on the Charles River Campus. One of the "BU500."

Even though the outcome would be almost certain, people still wanted to see the two go head to head.
