Far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has spent years profiting from his deranged rants and pseudoscientific supplements under the Info Wars umbrella.
In the past, Jones claimed that he had documents proving a covert chemical warfare operation to turn Americans gay, and that this warfare was being tested out on frogs, resulting in an epidemic of gay frogs in the United States.
He infamously told his viewers that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton led a child sex ring from Comet Ping Pong in D.C.—a lie which eventually led to an armed standoff and which still attracts protesters to this day.
Jones lost a court case against him from parents of the children who died in the devastating Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting in 2012. His claims that the shooting was staged by crisis actors pretending to be bereaved parents motivated Jones' conspiracy theorist followers to harass grieving families.
Naturally, Jones gravitated toward another conspiracy theorist, former President Donald Trump.
Jones featured Trump on an episode of his show during the 2016 campaign and the Venn diagram of Trump supporters and Jones followers has wide overlap.
But in a new leaked video from 2019, Jones slams Trump, profanely wishing he'd never met him. The rant, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, is an outtake from a propaganda film titled You Can't Watch This.

Jones said:
Part of me—the selfish part—wishes I'd never met Donald Trump ... It's the truth. I'm just going to say it, that I wish I never would've f***ing met Trump. I wish it never would've happened. And it's not that the attacks that I've been through. I'm so sick of f***ing Donald Trump, man. God, I'm f***ing sick of him."
Nevertheless, Jones would continue to vocally support Trump, appearing at protests in support of Trump's election lies and contributing to the rhetoric that led to the deadly siege on the United States Capitol.
Oddly enough, people finally agreed with Alex Jones.
Once again, his grift was exposed.
Jones says he's made millions of dollars from his followers, though his credibility is obviously in question.
