People adapting to new technology can simultaneously be a challenging experience for them and entertaining for others.

While efforts in learning about new innovations are to be commended, we can't help but be amused spectators as they struggle with understandably confusing technology.

Kenneth "Kenny" Jary is an 80-year-old veteran who proved that, at any age, you never stop learning and can have a TikTok account go viral.

Jary, a.k.a. @patriotickenny, started a TikTok account to raise awareness about veterans through informational videos.

Periodically, he features humorous clips demonstrating his experiences with new technology.

In a recent video, Jary tried his hand at communicating with virtual assistant technology, Alexa, for the first time.

It doesn't go smoothly.

"Can I ask her?" Jary asked his off-camera friend Amanda, who was introducing him to Alexa, at the start of the clip.

When given affirmation, he leaned into the tablet and summoned, "A- Alexa?"

"No answer," he said, after a brief pause.

Eventually, after hearing a verbal response, Jary proceeded to ask, "Alexa, how about sausage and pepperoni pizzas. Are they good for you, or not?"

But his question was mistakenly interpreted as a shopping order to add to a grocery list.

And when he looked at the screen, he found that one of the items added to the shopping list was underwear.

Alexa cleared his list after he clarified he didn't want a shopping list. And when Jary thanked her, she replied, "Anytime, literally."

Jary was floored, and viewers of the clip were enamored.

The delightful interaction was a hit online with over 17 million views.

The clip is one of many featuring Jary's interaction with Alexa, and each one is just as priceless–including one in which he asks Alexa to fart.
