Trump's Awkward Dance Moves Have Now Been Turned Into A Viral TikTok Dance Challenge

Trump's Awkward Dance Moves Have Now Been Turned Into A Viral TikTok Dance Challenge

Last Monday, President Donald Trump held a rally in Florida where he promised to "kiss everyone in that audience" and bragged about being immune from the virus responsible for the global health crisis.

But perhaps what stood out the most from that night was the President dancing – or awkwardly shifting his body weight from side to side – to the Village People's "Y.M.C.A." in front of his largely unmasked supporters.

Social Media users seized the opportunity to set Trump's dance clip to different music for a TikTok dance challenge, and it looks like we have the next viral sensation.

TikTok user @crisnate0 added a mashup of Savage's club hit "Swing" and Coldplay's chart topper "Viva La Vida" to Trump's moves, and it was viewed over 9 million times.

The music choice perfectly synced with the President letting his backbone slip and pumping his fists.

As a result, we can never hear the song the same way again.

Users commented they must be "on the wrong side of TikTok," while others continued campaigning to vote Trump out in the current election.

Others recalled Trump's predecessor in the White House had the better moves.

@crisnate0's viral clip spawned other TikTok creations, including one by @julia_keith_ earned – who expertly mimicked Trump's awkward moves.

The Village People's 1978 tune had been reclaimed and popularized by LGBTQ members, leaving many to wonder why the Trump administration would use "Y.M.C.A," given their repeated failure to recognize Pride events.

Many of Trump's critics castigated his dancing at Florida's rally and accused the President of being "tone deaf" for glorifying his survival from the deadly virus – which claimed the lives of over 215,000 thousand Americans.
