TikToker Calls Out Goodwill After Noticing The Absurdly High Price Tag On A Mirror For Sale

TikToker Calls Out Goodwill After Noticing The Absurdly High Price Tag On A Mirror For Sale

Goodwill bills itself as a 120-year-old nonprofit organization which aims to help out people who have "barriers to their employment."

They help out those individuals not only by selling discounted clothes and household goods at their numerous stores, but also by providing job training, and "employment placement services."

With that in mind, one wouldn't expect to find anything with a price tag of $150 at one of their stores.

But that's exactly what Seattle area TikToker Nesreen (@anotherhijabiontiktok) found at her store in Rennton, Washington.

She shared her discovery in a video posted to her TikTok page, which has since gone on to receive over 464 thousand views.

Declaring "we hyped Goodwill too much" in the video's caption, the video began with a shot of a beautiful gold mirror, which caught Nesreen's attention.

But it's evident from the very beginning of the short video that she did not end up purchasing, as she expressed her shock and disappointment with Goodwill in both voice over and overlay.

"I don't know who gave Goodwill the audacity, but I saw this beautiful mirror today and I was so ready to snag it."
"I literally saw to people grab it and put it back, tell me why Goodwill is selling it for $150?"

The camera then closed in on the mirror's price tag, to reveal that it was indeed going for $149.99, a price which left Nesreen baffled, as it was something which had been donated to their store.

"Like, they literally got this for free, I don't understand."

TikTokers were equally baffled by the mirror's hefty price tag.

Some were quick to offer Nesreen advice where she could get a similar mirror for a much more reasonable price.

After reading the responses from some of her 16 thousand followers, Nesreen revealed in a follow up video her days of shopping at Goodwill were over.

"Based on everyone's comments in my previous GW video, I will not be shopping here any more."

The fact she left the shopping trip in the video completely empty handed likely only solidified Nesreen's decision to seek out discounted goods elsewehere.

Roger Stone Slammed After Suggesting Dem Senator Should Be 'Executed' For Criticizing Trump

President Donald Trump's ally is facing heavy criticism after declaring that Arizona Democratic Senator Mark Kelly should be charged with "treason" and "executed" for his dealings with a Chinese company that makes surveillance balloons.

Stone's remarks followed Kelly's comments on Trump's crypto coin scheme outlined in a now-rejected bill that aimed to establish a regulatory framework for stablecoins, a type of digital asset designed to maintain a fixed $1 value, making it better suited for everyday transactions. Democrats said the legislation did not contain adequate standards to safeguard against corruption.
