Gomez revealed to her former 'Wizards of Waverly Place' costars Jennifer Stone and David DeLuise how her life in the spotlight ultimately affected her friendships with them.

Earlier this week, Selena Gomez reunited with her former Wizards of Waverly Place costars Jennifer Stone and David DeLuise, - who played her best friend and father, respectively - as a guest on the Stone and DeLuise's new podcast Wizards of Waverly Pod.

During the podcast, Gomez, who played character Alex Russo on the show, partook in a deep conversation with the hosts about their personal journeys throughout the course of the show as well as some of their favorite memories of their time together from 2007 until the series' final episode in January of 2012.

The conversation took the trio through revelations of some of their rare experiences, their influences and even advice they wished they could have imparted on their younger, less-experienced selves.

The tone of the episode took a hard emotional turn, however, when Gomez was asked about her biggest regret.

About half an hour into the podcast, DeLuise asked Gomez:

"What has been your biggest mistake so far?"

He added jokingly:

"And you can't say a boy's name."

Gomez then revealed:

"Probably not staying in touch with you guys."

She continued:

"I wasn't really...I think I slowly became like kind of shamed."
"I felt ashamed of the decisions that I made, and I didn't want you guys to see me in the state that I was in because A) you would have told me the truth which terrifies me and B) I didn't want to let you down."

An emotional DeLuise thanked Gomez and added that it was "really sweet," before adding while wiping away tears:

"Obviously I miss you, and I'm happy you're doing well now."

Stone added:

"I appreciate you saying that, too. To be perfectly blunt, there have been times where I'm like, 'Did we stop being friends because I didn't tell her what she wanted to hear?'"

Viewers were likewise overtaken with emotion.

After Gomez's touching response, she also shared:

"I appreciate you guys, dearly, and I love you so much in a way that I've never loved anybody else."

She also revealed in the interview that her time on Wizards was her "happiest."

"I can't begin to tell you guys without making it such a little cry session... I felt like I was the happiest I had been in my whole life."
"And I don't want that to be a sad thought, because I'm really grateful and happy. But it was definitely the happiest time for me."

She added:

"I recognize that obviously it's because I have this different attention on me [now] that I just didn't have then and that was a really pure time."

Conservative Tries To Claim Disney+ Show Is Somehow Satanic Due To Joke—And Gets Instantly Fact-Checked

It's the holidays again, which of course means the yearly tradition of Christians having a meltdown about supposedly being persecuted by the existence of non-Jesusy Christmas stuff is back with a vengeance.

But the latest flap online is really a doozy in its audacity both because it's incredibly dumb and also a lie, obviously posted as a purposeful attempt to get attention.

Massachusetts Catholic Church Angers Conservatives With Its Brutal ICE-Themed Nativity Scene

The Christian Bible teaches that the Holy Family—Joseph, Mary, and Jesus—were residents of the Herodian ruled Nazareth, Galilee. Having traveled back to Joseph's ancestral home—Roman ruled Bethlehem, Judea—for the census, Mary and Joseph, in modern American parlance, would have been homeless immigrants/tourists having an "anchor baby" at the time of Jesus' birth.

While Joseph considered Galilee his immediate family's home, the trio would eventually flee to Egypt as refugees to escape from King Herod.

Trump Ripped After Forcing National Parks To Drop Free Entry On MLK Day And Juneteenth For Infuriating Reason

President Donald Trump was criticized after the National Park Service announced it will be dropping Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth for next year's calendar of free-entry days and adding Trump's birthday, which happens to fall on Flag Day, on June 14.

Last month, the Department of the Interior unveiled changes to what it now calls its “resident-only patriotic fee-free days,” expanding the calendar to include new dates like the Fourth of July weekend and President Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday, while dropping others that had honored the department itself, including the Bureau of Land Management’s anniversary.

MAGA Is Melting Down Over A Pink J. Crew Sweater For Men—And Our Eyes Can't Roll Hard Enough

MAGA fans are melting down over a $168 men's sweater from J. Crew with a fair-isle collar, claiming, in yet another example of the idiocy of the culture wars, that only liberals would actually wear it.

Dem Rep. Has An Idea For A New Line Of Work For MTG After She Leaves Congress—And It Would Certainly Be Something

California Democratic Representative Robert Garcia was elected in November 2022 and even before being sworn in, he was locking horns with one-time MAGA darling and Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.

For years, MTG was best known as the QAnon conspiracy theory-spewing, State of the Union heckling, crossfit hyping, Trump ride-or-dying, anti-LGBTQ+ racist MAGA minion from Georgia.
