"I work in retail and I have worked during the whole pandemic so far. The pandemic has revealed to me how rude and selfish people can be. I have met so many people who refuse to wear masks and abuse the exemption rules. All of a sudden, EVERYONE is medically exempt. People were abusing this way out of wearing a mask by lying. And let me tell you, its easy to tell when people are lying about being exempt from how rude they are and how much they yell at you for store protocols that you don't make! If someone has a medical issue so severe that their life could be at risk when exposed to [the virus], I'm sure they would take every precaution to stay away from the public. It really frustrates me to see how many people don't care about this virus and don't care who they transmit it to. I have to work because I need to pay rent, but by doing that, I am putting my significant other at risk, my family, my dad who has diabetes, and many other people."
