A Nicki Minaj Tweet Has The Internet Convinced She Predicted Henry Kissinger's Death

The rapper posted Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter, how fans had 'no idea what's about to happen' shortly before the announcement of Kissinger's death—and fans rolled with it.

Rapper Nicki Minaj has always had her fingers on the pulse since the moment she arrived on the music industry scene. But now it turns out she might actually be clairvoyant.

That's the joke that circulated the internet, anyway, after Minaj's posts on X, aka Twitter, coincided with the death of former US Secretary of State and national security advisor Henry Kissinger in a way that seemed eerily prescient—or maybe even incriminating.

Kissinger's involvement in the deadly bombing campaigns in Southeast Asia during the administrations of Presidents Nixon and Ford in the 1970s has led many to brand him a war criminal in recent years.

Hence, the news of his death wasn't exactly greeted with sadness by all corners of the internet. So when Minaj tweeted about her upcoming album just hours before his death was announced, people ran with the joke, and ran with it hard.

Minaj's tweet read:

"The fact that y’all have no idea what’s about to happen."

The tweet was in reference to the December 8 release of her new album Pink Friday 2. But the timing was simply too coincidental for an elaborate joke about Kissinger not to quickly flourish.

The tweet sparked all kinds of jokes, in fact, and not just ones about Kissinger.

People cracked wise about everything, including Seinfeld returning to TV.

And obscure film references.

Their own inability to hold their liquor.

But, mostly, it was joke after joke about Minaj having not only known about Kissinger's passing, but also maybe being the one to have done the deed herself.

And a new meme was quickly born.

Minaj herself has neither confirmed nor denied the allegations springing from her viral tweet. Interpret that as you wish.

Nancy Sinatra Shuts Down MAGA Fan Who Claimed Her Famous Dad Would've Voted For Trump

It's no secret that MAGA Republican President Donald Trump hasn't been able to attract the cream of the crop when it comes to the entertainment industry. While Kid Rock, Kevin Sorbo and Scott Baio are Trump ride or dies, pretty much every other Hollywood or music legend or rising star is taking a pass on Trump.

And some outright despise the man and let everyone know. Often.

And MAGA is not happy about it.
