Rudy Giuliani Just Said He Knows Donald Trump Never Told Michael Cohen to Lie to Congress Because He's 'Been Through All the Tapes' and the Reporter's Response Is All of Us

Huh?

Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's lawyer, made a startling claim to a New Yorker reporter on Monday regarding Trump's alleged conversations with his former fixer Michael Cohen.

Isaac Chotiner called Giuliani for comment on a disputed BuzzFeed report alleging that Trump instructed Cohen to lie to Congress about the secret Trump Tower Moscow deal Trump was pursuing during the 2016 election.

"Where are we now with Trump and Cohen and the BuzzFeed story, and your response to it?" Chotiner asked Giuliani.

"There are no tapes, there are no texts, there is no corroboration that the President told him to lie," Giuliani replied. "That’s why the special counsel said that the story was inaccurate."

Giuliani quickly contradicted himself, saying he "knew the BuzzFeed story was false." Chotimer asked Giuliani how he was so certain.

That's when it got weird.

Giuliani: "Because I have been through all the tapes. I have been through all the texts, I have been through all the e-mails, and I knew none existed."

Chotiner: "Wait, what tapes have you gone through?"

Giuliani immediately backtracked, saying "I shouldn’t have said tapes. They alleged there were texts and e-mails that corroborated that Cohen was saying the President told him to lie. There were no texts, there were no e-mails, and the President never told him to lie."

Chotiner: "So, there were no tapes you listened to, though?"

Giuliani: "No tapes. Well, I have listened to tapes, but none of them concern this."

Considering Cohen taped many of his conversations with Trump, Giuliani's remarks are raising lots of eyebrows.

Lordy, there may be tapes of Trump directing Cohen to commit perjury.

Whoops.

Giuliani left Twitter dumbfounded.

This is the best lawyer that Trump, a billionaire, can afford?

Oh Rudy. Why do you do this to yourself?

MAGA Rep. Ripped For Changing Story About Why He Sleeps In His DC Office To Fit Trump Agenda

Tennessee Republican Representative Tim Burchett was criticized for claiming that he "lives" in his office because of crime in Washington, D.C., even though he gave a completely different reason earlier this year to explain how he maintains productivity.

Burchett's remarks came as President Donald Trump federalized the Metropolitan Police and deployed about 800 National Guard troops to the nation’s capital this week while claiming crime in D.C. is "out of control" despite falling crime rates.

Sorbo gripes about Vikings cheerleaders

American actor and sudden cheerleading morality police Kevin Sorbo appeared to spontaneously combust online when the Minnesota Vikings announced the addition of two male cheerleaders to their 2025 squad.

Born in Mound, Minnesota, Sorbo has long cultivated his brand of brawny, bicep-flexing alpha male heroics—playing Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda, and starring in the 2008 parody Meet the Spartans, where he famously shared an on-screen kiss with Sean Maguire’s King Leonidas.
