British street artist Plastic Jesus gave President Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame a super shady makeover this week, but instead of defacing or damaging it, Plastic Jesus placed prison bars over the sidewalk monument.

"Today I put @realDonaldTrump behind bars," Plastic Jesus tweeted on Wednesday.

Plastic Jesus also shared footage of passersby admiring the latest... upgrade... to Trump's star to his Instagram.

The artist said that rallying cries for Trump to be imprisoned since he took office inspired him to lock Trump up, even if it's only metaphorical.

"There have been calls to jail Trump since the day he was elected, and today he was certainly put behind bars," Plastic Jesus told Huffington Post in an email, which contained additional photos of his work.

He added that "although it was very quickly damaged by a Trump supporter trying to remove it, the bars did appear to be stuck fast and were there several hours later ― to the amusement of thousands of passing tourists."

The bars were secured using "industrial strength double-sided sticky tape," Plastic Jesus told HuffPost. "I wanted them to stay down but didn’t want a bill for thousands of dollars to repair the footpath."

He added his "protest art was intended to be humorous" and that Trump should "pay the price" if he is ever indicted or convicted of any crimes.

As is probably expected, Twitter went wild over the stunt.

Trump behind bars? People seem to love it.

Savage.

Putting bars on Trump's star is not the first time Plastic Jesus has used art to encourage dissent against Trump.

Last month, Plastic Jesus designed child-sized bulletproof vests and placed them on mannequins in clothing stores to protest the Trump administration's lack of effort to prevent school shootings.

And in 2016, Plastic Jesus erected a mini wall around Trump's star, mocking the president's campaign promise to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border. The tiny enclosure included barbed wire and toothpick-sized American flags.

In August, the West Hollywood City Council voted unanimously to have Trump's star removed, however, their vote was overruled by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which has never removed a star.

Star Wars star Mark Hamill suggested replacing Trump's star with one for Carrie Fisher, who died in 2016.

The star has seen its share of vandalism too. It was smashed with a pickaxe last month and had previously been defecated on by a dog.

Elizabeth Warren Rips Education Secretary's Mind-Numbing Video For 'Teacher Appreciation Week'

Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren criticized Education Secretary Linda McMahon for paying tribute to educators during "Teacher Appreciation Week," noting the hypocrisy of McMahon's actions as she honors teachers on one hand and works to dismantle the Department of Education on the other.

In March, President Donald Trump signed an executive order empowering McMahon “to the maximum extent appropriate and permitted by law, take all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return authority over education to the States and local communities.”

Town Hall Crowd Erupts In Jeering Chants After GOP Rep. Has Older Woman Dragged Out

New York Republican Representative Mike Lawler has angered his own constituents after he had a woman dragged out of his town hall for pressing him on his loyalty to President Donald Trump.

Emily Feiner, whose Bluesky profile describes her as a Jewish retired social worker and mother of two, later shared that she "was certainly no threat" and that she "asked my congressperson what his red line was to finally, vocally oppose the lawless administration and he didn’t answer the question, so I called out for him to answer it and he had me removed."
