There's nothing cuter than a little kid rocking out to their favorite song. But imagine how much more you'd love it if the song in question were actually one you'd written and created yourself.

Singer Lizzo is having exactly that experience this week after a TikTok video of a little girl dancing to her recent his "About Damn Time" went so viral it ended up in the singer's own feed.

Lizzo used the app's duet feature to react to the little girl's jubilant dance break, and was so touched by the kid's joy she was moved to actual tears.

See her duet below for your daily dose of sweetness and joy.

The little kid's dances to Lizzo have so far racked up more than 750,000 views from people thrilled by her perfect replication of Lizzo's moves and the pure childhood joy with which she does them.

In the caption to her tearful duet, Lizzo said she found the little girl's dances inspiring. She wrote:

"im crying cus this is EXACTLY why i do what I do 😭😭😭😭 i love you!"
"Keep that confidence and beauty— no one can stop you!"

Lizzo elaborated on that sentiment in a subsequent video of her own, in which she talked about what the little girl's viral moment means to her.

With tears streaming down her face, Lizzo told her followers:

“...[Y]ou never think when you’re making music, you have an effect on people or you have an impact on people’s lives, and… it’s like, this is literally why I do it.
"I’m so grateful that people take my music and do good things with it. It makes them move, it makes them dance, it makes them happy, it makes them feel confidence in themselves."
"I don’t care about all the other sh*t. The numbers: I don’t give a sh*t."
"That video is my Grammy right there. That is my award and I’m so grateful.”

People on TikTok were nearly as moved as Lizzo was, with many letting the singer know what she means to them as well.
