Actor Leslie Jordan, who is famous for appearing in TV shows like American Horror Story and Will & Grace, is often surrounded by costars who conveniently happen to be major heartthrobs.

Recently, he couldn't contain himself when he went out to dinner with New Girl actor Max Greenfield.

And who can blame him?

The 66-year-old was so smitten with Greenfield, he jokingly proposed to him.

Jordan posted photos of them together getting chummy from that night on Instagram and explained in the caption:

"Tonight at dinner, I asked @iammaxgreenfield to marry me and he said, 'I am straight and already married.' But, he didn't say no."

After coming to his senses, he wrote:

"On second thought, I don't want to be a home-wrecker. Love you @tesssanchezgreenfield"

The woman he tagged in his post was Greenfield's wife, Tess Sanchez, who is also a casting director.

Greenfield and Sanchez tied the knot in 2008. They have two children, a daughter Lilly and a son Ozzie, together.

Followers amused by Jordan's post commented with their thoughts about his faux proposal.

By the end of July 2020, Jordan's Instagram hit a major milestone with five million followers as a result of his posts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The accomplished stage actor and playwright was recently seen in the sitcom, Call Me Kat—starring Mayim Bialik, Swoosie Kurtz, Kyla Pratt and Cheyenne Jackson—which was renewed for a second season and will return in January 2022.

Nothing seems to get conservatives' goats quite like celebrities having political opinions—well, liberal and leftist celebrities, anyway.

They seem to love it when weird right-wing celebs like Kevin Sorbo get on the internet and say bizarre, usually counterfactual nonsense, or when JK Rowling does her darnedest to make her legacy not about Harry Potter but about her weird obsession with trans people.

Ann Coulter Faces Fierce Backlash After Saying 'We Didn't Kill Enough Indians' In Deleted Post

Far-right provocateur Ann Coulter is facing fierce criticism after she made a genocidal remark in a now-deleted post on X in response to University of Minnesota professor and Navajo Nation member Melanie Yazzie's speech about colonization.

Yazzie, in a speech at last year's annual Socialism Conference, said "decolonization is the only thing that is going to save us as a species" during a panel hosted by Red Nation, a Native American nonprofit that advocates for Palestinian and Native American rights. She also said that the United States is the "greatest predator empire that has ever existed" and said it should be dismantled.
