Kimmel Pranks MAGA Fans By Pretending Trump's Misdeeds Are Biden's—And Their Responses Are So Telling

Jimmy Kimmel shared a segment asking South Carolina Trump supporters about their thoughts on some outrageous things Biden has supposedly said or done—except they were actually Trump controversies.

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel pranked South Carolina supporters of former President Donald Trump by asking them their thoughts on some outrageous things President Joe Biden has supposedly said or done—only to highlight that they were actually Trump controversies. Whoops!

One Trump supporter was asked for her thoughts about when "Joe Biden suggested that COVID could be cured by shining a bright light inside the body," to which she responded:

"It is very sad that Joe Biden is clearly a dementia patient."

When asked about Biden's supposed remark that surviving through the 1980s without catching HIV was his “own Vietnam," the woman said it is "very sad" to see Biden's "mental capacity" or lack thereof, calling the statement "uneducated."

When the interviewer "corrects" herself and says that it was in fact Trump who made the remark about COVID-19 "could be cured by shining a bright light inside the body," the woman switched her stance immediately:

"It depends what that technology is, that's a broad spectrum because you know, you have MRI machines and CT machines and infrared and different things so it just depends on the context of that."

You can watch the segment below.

It gets better—or worse, depending on how you look at it.

The interviewer went on to ask a man about Biden having sex with a porn star after his son was born and the presence of "a paper trail that showed he paid the sex worker $130,000 to keep quiet about it."

The interviewer was referencing alleged campaign finance fraud allegations Trump faces regarding his relationship with adult film star Stormy Daniels, who he paid off to keep quiet about their affair, which took place after his wife, Melania, gave birth to their son Barron.

The man said that Biden "was making less than $100,000 a year as a Senator" at the time, which in Biden's case, if this were true, would have taken place during the 1970s. The man said that "of course" he wouldn't vote for someone who did that.

But when the interviewer pointed out that it was Trump who had engaged in this behavior, the man rationalized it with the following response:

"I am [voting for Trump]. My father had affairs too and I still respect him."

Later, another woman was asked for her thoughts on Biden supposedly "using his bone spurs to dodge the Vietnam draft." The woman responded that Biden "isn't an American" and "isn't a patriot."

When the interviewer "corrected" herself again, the woman responded:

"My brother-in-law had flat feet so I'm sure you cannot go into a military zone, a Vietnam zone, or any of the other zones, with bad feet. You actually can't do the job and it actually impacts the other soldiers."
"It puts them in danger. So, no."

Many were quick to mock the hypocrisy of the Trump supporters in the segment and point out the strength of Trump's cult of personality.

Similarly, Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper ventured back onto the campaign trail earlier this month to engage with Trump's supporters, revealing their surprising willingness to embrace the "dictator" that Trump has admitted he wants to be on day one of his second term.

At a rally in South Carolina, Klepper questioned a supporter about Trump serving as king, to which she unequivocally responded, "Yes." Despite the obvious sarcasm in Klepper's tone, the supporter affirmed that having Trump as king was as "American as you can get."

Another interviewee at the rally advocated for Trump to arrest half of the Justice Department on his first day, acknowledging that such actions resembled a "true dictatorship."

When Klepper suggested comparisons to historical dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, some supporters expressed varying degrees of agreement, with one man stating this "needs to happen" so Trump can "put people in their place."

NBC Apologizes After Commentators Repeatedly Misgendered Trans Winter Olympic Skier

The International Olympic Committee is still trying to figure out what their position on transgender inclusion looks like and how decisions are made regarding which events athletes compete in. In the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, Filipino boxer Hergie Bacyadan, a transgender man, had to compete in the women’s event because of their stage in their transition.

In the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics this year, per International Ski Federation regulations, Swedish moguls skier Elis Lundholm also has to compete in the women’s moguls event because he hasn't begun a masculinizing hormone replacement therapy regimen yet.
