The actor, who is already a mom to a son, explained to Drew Barrymore that her relationship with the rapper 'wasn't sustainable' because it was like 'having two babies.'

Julia Fox opened up on Drew Barrymore's talk show earlier this week about her short—and apparently exhausting—relationship with Ye.

The 33-year-old actor said she quickly realized their relationship would not last. The rapper, 46, is a subject of frank discussion in the her new biography, Down the Drain. Fox and West met in Miami on New Year's Eve 2022, and dated for a month before breaking up on Valentine's Day 2022.

Fox found West to be needy and to need "a full-time person." She said he called often and needed to talk a lot, interrupting her time with her son from a former marriage.

I had my son [Valentino] and then he’d wanna talk on the phone a lot, like, I’d have to change diapers so I bought a pair of AirPods so I could keep it in while I was doing mom stuff. It was just — it was so overwhelming and so unsustainable.”

Eventually, Fox decided to draw a line.

"My son has to be first. It just became too much. I didn’t sign up to have two babies. I couldn’t do it. It felt like two babies."

People latched onto the comment about taking care of two babies.
