Jon Hamm Playfully Addresses Rumor He Doesn't Wear Underwear After *Those* Viral Photos
The Howard Stern Show

It has been nine long years. Nine long, unending years since the day that changed our lives forever and left many wondering about the underwear habits of a certain notable television star.

We speak, of course, about the day in 2013 when actor Jon Hamm broke the internet by walking down the street in New York with...his, uh, well his Hamm, if you will, on somewhat full display through the fabric of his pants.

As you no doubt remember, what Hamm seemed to be packing in his khakis quickly inspired the viral hashtag #Hammaconda along with years of speculation about whether Hamm is the type to go commando.

Well, he's not confirming anything about the size of the "Hammaconda" but he has at last addressed the rumors about his underwear choices--despite bristling at questions about the topic in the past.

But leave it to Howard Stern to finally get the truth out of him during a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

Stern asked Hamm if the staff on Mad Men told him he "must wear underwear" because his "penis is so large that it is in fact interfering" with his Emmy-winning turn as the show's main character, Don Draper.

With a hearty laugh, Hamm replied:

“I have worn underwear every single day of my life, Howard..."
“First of all, who doesn’t wear underwear? Yeah, I’ve worn underwear every day of my life."
"With a suit? Come on. I love a comfy boxer brief, thank you very much. I like a breathable cotton."
"Come on, man, who doesn’t?”

Well that's all fine and good, but he can't fault us all for wondering.

Those photos back in 2013 truly ground the internet to a halt for days.

Hamm has historically been a bit tetchy about the subject, telling Rolling Stone in 2019 "They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason" when they asked about it.

But for all his seeming shyness about the topic, 2013 wasn't the only outing of Hamm's Hamm.

Four years later in 2017 similar photos had a similarly explosive effect on the internet.

And his interview with Stern on the topic has made it all go viral yet again.

Hamm was visiting Stern to promote his upcoming film Confess, Fletch, an update to the Fletch film series popularized by Chevy Chase in the 80s.

No word on whether Hamm's Hamm makes an appearance.

CNN Panelist Epically Rips Conservative Pundit After He Tries To Downplay Epstein Files

Podcast host Leigh McGowan criticized conservative CNN panelist Scott Jennings on Monday over his cavalier attitude about the Justice Department's failure to release the Epstein files, calling his response “insane” and “horrifying.”

The DOJ has released less than 1% of the Epstein files. The department acknowledged that it has released just 12,285 documents—totaling 125,575 pages—related to Epstein, even though federal law required the bulk of those records to be made public by December 19.

New Data On How Trump Is Polling With Gen Z Is A Disastrous Wake-Up Call For His Administration

According to the latest polling data highlighted on CNN, President Donald Trump's support among Gen Z voters has fallen considerably—a remarkable shift in public opinion from a cohort whose support proved crucial to his 2024 election win.

Trump's 2024 campaign received a massive boost thanks to the efforts of Turning Point USA's Charlie Kirk, the far-right activist who was assassinated in September. Kirk galvanized the youth vote but those gains have not held steady since Trump entered office.
