Foxx gave Smith an emotional thank you for his birthday video on Instagram after his health scare earlier this year.

Jamie Foxx celebrated his 56th birthday last week, and well wishes from friends and fans alike came flooding in for the actor.

But one special "born day" message had Foxx a little emotional.

The actor's close pal Will Smith took to his Instagram to wish Foxx a happy birthday and to share a hilarious video of Foxx talking about experiencing the magnitude of Smith's fame while working alongside him.

In the caption, Smith wrote:

"HAPPY BORN DAY FOXX!!"
"Sending love & light to you brother @iamjamiefoxx"

You can watch below.

While the video was certainly intended to be funny, Foxx found himself in his feelings over the "special bday" wish.

He commented on the post:

"Tears in my eyes."
"This a special bday for so many reasons I want to thank you a billion!"

Back in April, Foxx experienced a "medical complication" that resulted in a hospital stay followed by rehab. Many speculated the actor suffered a stroke, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Foxx also took the opportunity to gush over his friend.

"And also remind you of what you mean to us and the world. You have given us some many great artistic gems. Movies music culture!!!"
"You are and will always be BIG WILL!!! See you in PARIS! 😜!! Biggups!!!"

Foxx also shared a heartfelt birthday message on his own Instagram, thanking his fans for their continued support.

"This birthday is a special one…"
"I wanna start by saying thank you to everyone that prayed for me when I was in a bad way… here lately I’ve been able to thank some of you personally but I want to say to all of you."
"I NEEDED EVERY PRAYER… you lifted me through… I was able to make it to today because of your prayers… I consider all of you my family… and thank you to my immediate family, and everybody who chipped in to make sure that I could celebrate on this day…"

He finished his post:

"I’m sending our complete joy to everybody… Cause if it’s my birthday it’s your birthday….."

Wishing you the happiest of birthdays, Mr. Foxx.

Tucker Carlson Dragged After Offering Truly Bonkers Theory For Why Trump Captured Nicolás Maduro

Former Fox News host turned far-right podcaster Tucker Carlson raised eyebrows after he claimed that President Donald Trump captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro in order to bring same-sex marriage to the people of a country now in a dangerous state of flux after the U.S. invaded.

Weirdly, he claimed “pro-gay forces” were secretly driving regime change, pointing to Nobel Peace Prize recipient and opposition leader María Corina Machado's support for same-sex marriage. He suggested this is proof that "globo homo," his term for progressive liberal elites, are hard at work.

Married People Explain How Often They Take Their Wedding Ring Off
