Rudy Giuliani was Mayor of New York during the September 11 attacks, orchestrated by Osama bin Laden.

Giuliani's public performance in the aftermath of the attacks would earn him international acclaim and the affectionate title of "America's mayor."

Now it's 18 years later, and revelations about Giuliani's tenure as mayor have been exposed, Giuliani is currently under scrutiny for shady business dealings in Ukraine, White House Officials feared he was a threat to national security....

He butt dialed an NBC reporter.

Twice.

The mighty fell a little bit further when the internet began mocking a typo in one of Giuliani's tweets.

See if you can spot it.

Giuliani's tweet came shortly after Donald Trump announced the killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, for which Rudy didn't think the President was getting enough credit.

The former mayor has since deleted the tweet, but not before it trended on Twitter and had its 15 minutes of fame on the internet.

Fortunately, Giuliani wasn't alone for long.

Hours later, the President posted a tweet in which he misspelled "Ukraine."

The sad part is practically no one was surprised.

Let's just hope a failure to proofread doesn't get us all killed one day.

The book Grand Illusion: The Untold Story of Rudy Giuliani and 9/11 is available here.
