Republican pundit Candace Owens is being made fun of on Twitter after praising Donald Trump as an "actual feminist" because he made transphobic statements at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

During former President Trump's speech, he parroted a common transphobic argument that transgender athletes "invade" women's sports, supposedly taking opportunities away from what conservatives refer to as "biological women."

The truth is the "insanity" Owens was writing about is actually a non-issue.

Of course, many couldn't help but point out Donald Trump has a long history of misogyny.

Former President Trump was even caught on tape bragging about assaulting women.

Owens generated about a million eye rolls on the internet for her statement.

Many of Owens' past statements have also aged badly.

It should hardly have to be said but transphobia does not make people good feminists.

The White House Now Has Its Own News Website—And People Are Calling It Out For What It Is

Critics called out the Trump administration for running its own propaganda network after the White House publicized "White House Wire," its own news website that features news articles from conservative news outlets like the Daily Caller and Fox News.

One early headline, "100 Days Of Hoaxes: Cutting Through The Fake News," was notable but did not include a direct link to a story.

U.S. businesses are already canceling orders from China and delaying expansion plans as they brace for the fallout from Trump’s trade policies.
