Candace Cameron Bure and her brother, Kirk Cameron, are well known as stalwarts of late 80s/early 90s sitcoms that became born-again Christians during their time on television.

Bure unexpectedly received some backlash from her Christian community, though, after posting a picture of her and her husband that followers deemed "inappropriate."

The picture shows Bure's husband, Valeri Bure, resting his hand on Bure's right breast.

In the original shared image on Bure's Instagram story, she's subtitled it:

"Classic Val!"

The immediate backlash she received was so severe she deleted the post.

Eventually, expressing her frustration with the backlash, she re-posted the photo with a little caveat.

In a couple videos that have since expired from her Instagram story, she said:

"For all of the Christians that are questioning my post with my husband's hand on my boob—my husband of 24 years—thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it's my husband. We have so much fun together."
"He can touch me any time he wants, and I hope he does. This is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about."

Cameron Bure did not issue an apology, either.

"I'm sorry if it offended you—I'm actually not sorry."
"I'm glad we have fun together after so many years. He can touch me all day long."

Candace and former NHL player Valeri have been married for 24 years, having gotten married in 1996 after being introduced to each other by Bure's Full House co-star, Dave Coulier.

They have a daughter, Natasha - 22, and two sons, Lev - 20 and Maksim - 18. They presumably will be having fun together regardless of what the internet tells them to do.

Nancy Sinatra Shuts Down MAGA Fan Who Claimed Her Famous Dad Would've Voted For Trump

It's no secret that MAGA Republican President Donald Trump hasn't been able to attract the cream of the crop when it comes to the entertainment industry. While Kid Rock, Kevin Sorbo and Scott Baio are Trump ride or dies, pretty much every other Hollywood or music legend or rising star is taking a pass on Trump.

And some outright despise the man and let everyone know. Often.

And MAGA is not happy about it.
