Rightwinger Roasted After Trying To Blast Airline For Slippery Slope Of 'Gender Neutral' Bathrooms

Rightwinger Roasted After Trying To Blast Airline For Slippery Slope Of 'Gender Neutral' Bathrooms
Paul Joseph Watson/YouTube; @VirginAtlantic/Twitter

British airline Virgin Atlantic just announced they are getting rid of gendered uniforms for their in-flight crew, leaving it up to pilots and cabin crew to choose the uniforms that best suit them “no matter their gender, gender identity or gender expression.”

And like clockwork, conservatives are up in arms about it. None more so than InfoWars contributor and conspiracy theorist Paul Joseph Watson.

But his comments left many wondering if Watson has ever been on a plane.

Watson worried this was a slippery slope. Once you allow a flight attendant to choose to wear any of the airline's official uniforms to work, the next stop is gender-neutral airplane bathrooms.

Not sure what kind of airplanes he's been flying on all his life. But let's not tell him airplanes already have and always have had gender-neutral bathrooms because his outrage about it is too much fun to watch.

See a screengrab of Watson's tweet on the matter below.

He unsurprisingly deleted it after a thorough mocking.

In his tweet, Watson included a news story about the new direction at Virgin Atlantic, along with this scorching hot take:

"Pretty bigoted how they're still maintaining 'male' and 'female' toilets on the plane. I want to see the sh*t show of 'gender neutral bathrooms' unfold at 30,000 feet."

Surely among the most "who's gonna tell him?" tweets of all time, because unless "first class" and "coach" are now genders, all airplane bathrooms are single-use and hence inherently gender neutral.

Just like most of the bathrooms in private homes.

Virgin Atlantic announced their new policies with a splashy ad showing off brand-new uniforms designed by iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood and featuring gay icon and co-host of RuPaul's Drag Race Michelle Visage.

Conservatives love calling liberals "cry babies" and "snowflakes," but throwing a tantrum over airline uniforms?

It's hard to think of something more snowflake-y than that.

And being loud and wrong about something as simple as airplane bathrooms while doing it? Well, you know Twitter wasn't about to let that slide.

People had a field day roasting Watson for his ignorance.

We wish Watson the best of luck with his next harrowing gender-inclusive airplane bathroom debacle.

A group of 77 Nobel laureates wrote an open letter to Senate lawmakers stressing that confirming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as President-elect Donald Trump's Secretary of Health and Human Services "would put the public’s health in jeopardy and undermine America’s global leadership in health science."
