TikToker @nicr__ was left 'speechless' after spotting the one-time fee, along with a separate monthly fee just to have a pet fish.

A woman on TikTok has gone viral after posting that her landlord required a deposit plus monthly rent fee for her pet... fish.

In her video - which has been viewed more than 64 thousand times over the course of a week - @nicr__ shared a photo of the fees accrued by her fish broken down on her statement. The screenshot of the breakdown shows that her apartment charged a one-time pet fee of $200 and $15 for monthly pet "rent," given it's not an "aggressive breed."

The creator Nic was literally speechless in the video as she displayed the fees.

She captioned the post:

"They're now charging pet rent for fishes?"
