WATCH: 'Stranger Things' Actor Channels Zac Efron's High School Musical Troy

The kids of Stranger Things are everyone's favorite cast on television right now, and it is no secret that they are best friends in real life. During an interview on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, the original boy quartet revealed that the cast spent Halloween together. The intention of course was to watch scary movies, in the spirit of the spooky holiday. But while everyone in America was watching Stranger Things (15 million viewers over the weekend), the kids found themselves watching High School Musical instead.

It began when co-stars Sadie Sink and Gaten Matarazzo began to sing along with the songs. That was when Wolfhard revealed to his friends that Zac Efron's Troy Bolton inspired him to play basketball when he was younger. But the influence doesn't stop there. The actor stood up to show Fallon and the world just how Efron he can be.

Wolfhard demonstrated his flawless impression of Troy Bolton, including one of Zac Efron's signature dance moves. First there was the grabbing of his head in existential angst...

...followed by an iconic "Bet on It" slide from High School Musical 2. For those of you at home paying attention, Wolfhard was 3 when the film first came out in 2007.

Twitter couldn't love the young star and his impressionistic skills enough.

Many couldn't help but notice that the impression reminded us just how young Wolfhard and his co-stars are.

"I just love how confident Finn is... to interrupt the interview and bust out his Troy Bolton impression He's truly a child of our time!!"

"But @FinnSkata impression of @ZacEfron doing troys dance was on point"

"Can u believe Finn wolfhard played basketball because of zac efron. A true child of this generation."

And while many found the young star beyond adorable, others couldn't help but post about their love for Efron himself, in GIFs.

You can watch the full interview below. Just try not to love these kids anymore than we already do.
