Restaurants and pubs are constantly having promotions in order to boost business. But one pub in Adelaide, Australia is really regretting the promotion they dreamed up.

The Woolshed on Hindley offered free drinks to women based on their bra size.

The South Australia pub posted a Facebook ad—now deleted—with instructions to "hang your bra in the shed"—a play on the pub's name—offering women free drinks if they left their bra at the bar.

Hopefully they wouldn't be required to surrender the one they were wearing.

The pub ended up having to give a public apology for their promotion titled:

“The bigger, the better.”

The larger their cup size, the larger the beverage the woman would get.

The post continued by stating an A cup would get you one free drink, a B cup would get you two and a C cup would get you three.

Surprisingly the promotion was less than popular with the public.

The pub's Facebook page was flooded with comments about the misogynistic promotion.

The pub eventually saw the writing on the wall.

The Woolshed put out an official apology.

The pub shared the message on their Facebook page.

The Woolshed posted:

"We would like to address the concerns that have been raised regarding a recent social media post shared by our nightclub."
"We sincerely apologise for the fact that the post made some of our patrons feel uncomfortable and body-shamed as this was never our intention."
"Based on the feedback from our community we have cancelled the promotion and are workshopping ideas for different promotions that promote a fun, safe and inclusive environment for all."
"Moving forward senior management will be reviewing all promotional activity to ensure that it creates an inclusive environment for all our patrons.”

One is left to wonder who thought this promotion would appeal to most women?

Especially when one bra easily costs more than 5-6 drinks.
