Kids write the darnedest things. @Sal_Perez4 found an old homework assignment from his preschool days and posted it online so the internet could share in his embarrassment.


Twitter showed no mercy in their jokes.





Some of these spellings take a few moments to decipher...





Other Twitter users felt some sympathy for the young @Sal_Perez4.




And some even thought the writing showed real promise!




Such a young child spelling phonetically is a great sign apparently.

According to publicly available documents reviewed by The New York Times, the United States Coast Guard purchased two Gulfstream private jets on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security for DHS Secretary Kristi Noem's and other top officials' use, at an estimated cost of about $172 million.
