Nic Cage Claims He Can Remember Being In His Mother's Womb—And It's A Lot

The 'Renfield' star was asked by Stephen Colbert about his earliest memory—and Cage had a whopper of an answer.

Nicolas Cage claims he remembers being inside his mother's womb, and, well, we need a minute to process that.

But honestly, if anyone could make that statement believable, it would be him.

Cage was on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this week where he participated in "The Colbert Questionert."

After answering life's tough questions like "Apples or oranges?" and "Window or aisle?" Cage was asked about his earliest memory.

The Renfield star pondered a moment and then revealed:

"Listen, I know this sounds really far out, and I don't know if it's real or not, but sometimes I think I can go all the way back to in utero and feeling like I could see faces in the dark or something."

He continued:

"I know that sounds powerfully abstract, but that somehow seems like maybe it happened."

He completed his response:

"Now that I am no longer in utero, I would have to imagine perhaps it was vocal vibrations resonating through to me in that stage going way back."
"That comes to mind."

You can watch the clip below.

Viewers of the segment were highly entertained by Cage's response... but also not in the least surprised.

After hearing Cage out, Colbert replied:

"I buy it. I buy it."

And, honestly, we think we might, too.

Nancy Sinatra Shuts Down MAGA Fan Who Claimed Her Famous Dad Would've Voted For Trump

It's no secret that MAGA Republican President Donald Trump hasn't been able to attract the cream of the crop when it comes to the entertainment industry. While Kid Rock, Kevin Sorbo and Scott Baio are Trump ride or dies, pretty much every other Hollywood or music legend or rising star is taking a pass on Trump.

And some outright despise the man and let everyone know. Often.

And MAGA is not happy about it.
