She's a poet!

Iconic entertainer Bette Midler has always made her distaste for President Donald Trump perfectly clear. for his part, Trump hasn't failed to make sure that Midler knows the feeling was mutual, calling her a "washed up psycho" and criticizing her "ugly face [and] body."

Trump's insults haven't made Midler retreat an inch in her criticisms of Trump, and a limerick she tweeted poking fun at Trump's upcoming Fourth of July celebration made that perfectly clear.

Trump's Fourth of July event has come under criticism for its spending and impracticality.

The celebration will use taxpayer money to fund a parade of military tanks. Tickets to the publicly funded event are being peddled by the Republican National Committee as "gifts" to donors of Trump's reelection campaign.

Despite the criticisms, Trump can't stop touting the event and what he believes to be a show of American excellence.

People were more inclined to take Midler's side.

Turns out many believe that Trump's tank-laden "Salute to America" is itself destined to tank.
